About Beatrix Potter

Beatrix Potter’s stories and illustrations recounting the adventures of farm and woodland animals have charmed generations of readers and in 1987 inspired Border Fine Arts to create figurines and accessories depicting the popular characters.

The World of Beatrix Potter collection initially comprised figurines but the range has grown to include musical boxes, picture frames, wall clocks, home and nurseryware as well as money banks and gardenware ensuring there’s something for all ages.

The Classics Collection of earthenware figurines launched in 2003, the same year that the Friends of Peter Rabbit Club was formed, its name celebrating the centenary of Beatrix’s first book. Through the regular magazine, Hill Top Tales, collectors can discover more about collectables and Beatrix’s life.

On joining the club collectors receive the club membership gift; this delightful study of one of Beatrix Potter’s characters is decorated with 22-carat gold and changes annually. The gifts are building into an important collection in their own right and the tenth addition in 2012 is Mrs. Rabbit.
